The 924 Carrera GT's 924/VW origins make it relatively simple and cheap to maintain. That said, like
any performance car and particularly any Porsche, it is important that careful attention is paid to servicing. A mechanic working on the car should understand
primarily Porsche's front engined range, but preferably will also know the 924 Carrera GT, and will be prepared to check workshop manuals and the PET catalogue ensure the correct procedures and parts are used where they differ from the 924 or 931.
